Ethics on the Air
Ethics on the Air -- The next installment of NYSEC's Ethics on the Air will broadcast Friday, July 23rd at 11 A.M. on WBAI-99.5 FM and (http://stream.wbai.org/ for streaming.) The topic of discussion will be on The Considerations and Controversy of Preventive Surgery with our special guest Sharon Stanley of the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island.Join co-hosts Andra Miller begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting and Dr. Terry Perlin as they talk with Sharon Stanley, a courageous school teacher who, facing a 60 - 90 percent odds of getting breast cancer, had to make a terrible decision. She'll talk about how she faced that decision; what it was like to have radical preventive surgery; and the trials and tribulations before, during and after the operation and subsequent procedures.
