Join the 2012 AEU Lay Leadership Summer School

It is very likely that you have been in contact with LLSS graduates, as ten current Society Presidents and seven AEU Board Members have attended. Eighteen Leaders have participated, five of whom entered the AEU Leadership Training Program after attending the LLSS. Ask the people who have attended about their experience and you'll hear stories of inspiring lectures, challenging group experiences, and deep friendships formed with Ethical Culture members from around the country.

2010 Lay Leadership Summer School group

Our staff consists of Kate Lovelady (St. Louis), Matthew Hile (St. Louis), Diane Kirschner (Brooklyn), Hugh Taft-Morales (Philadelphia and Baltimore), Jan Broughton (Triangle) and Bart Worden (Westchester), with assistance from Law'nence Miller (New York/AEU Office). We try to ensure that all participants enjoy a rewarding experience that will enrich them as individuals, sharpen their leadership skills, and provide them with helpful tools that can be applied to their work with their Societies.

As in past years, LLSS participation involves a substantial commitment of time and money so we hope Society boards will consider setting aside funds to help support members who attend. We also welcome contributions from all Ethical Culture members and friends who recognize the value of this training opportunity and want to support our efforts to build a strong and effective Ethical Culture Movement. Please contact the AEU office at 212-873-6500 to find out how easy it is to give! Thank you!
