Anna Garlin Spencer Volunteer Award

The critical skills and diversified talents that volunteers bring to our Societies, and the enormous amount of devoted time, are essential to the growth and development of our Societies and the Ethical Culture Movement. 

In recognition, the AEU is calling for nominations for the American Ethical Union's Anna Garlin Spencer Volunteer Award. The award will be presented during the 2011 Assembly in Columbus, Ohio on June 18, 2011.

Each year every Society may present nominations for this award prior to each AEU Board meeting. There are two more opportunities to present nominations for this award at the AEU Board Meetings. Nominations should be received by April 21 for the May 21 AEU Board meeting. 

To nominate someone, you should receive the approval of Board at your Society, and then inform the nominee of your intentions to ascertain their availability and interest. Nomination forms are available from  the AEU office. Nominations should be e-mailed to L.
