Ethical religious educators and families met for our annual Fall Conference and Family Weekend. Inspired by Felix Adler's words, "act so as to elicit the best in others and thereby in thyself," we explored the core of ethical living: ethical action.
Forty-two teens traveled to the YES conference, Chicago, which focused on the theme of body image. Bergen, Brooklyn, Chicago, Long Island, Northern Westchester, St. Louis and Washington, D.C., all sent representatives for the weekend.

Philadelphia Ethical Humanist Society Leadership Search
The Ethical Humanist Society of Philadelphia, an historic congregation founded in 1885 and located on Rittenhouse Square in Center City, Philadelphia is now accepting applications for a Leader, a half-time position to be filled by September 2011.
The Supreme Court's recent decision that corporations are “persons” and as such have an unlimited right to spend corporate funds held in support of political candidates is unethical. In reaching its conclusion, the Court overturned years of legal precedent to the contrary with the narrowest possible majority.
