AEU COMMENDS U.S. SUPPORT TO PEOPLE EVERYWHERE IN EFFORTS TO OBTAIN BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS AND BETTER LIVING CONDITIONS

RESOLVED that we recognize and commend the patient and courageous efforts of the United States Government to achieve a modus vivendi with other nations and the start that our Government has made toward an imaginative program for helping the peoples of the world to raise their standards of living;

that we call upon our Government to continue unremittingly:

To give American support to these people over all the world who, now deprived of basic human rights, are striving toward the realization of decent conditions of living, human dignity, and the development of individual potentialities.
