FOR WITHDRAWAL OF OUR ARMED FORCES FROM VIETNAM

WHEREAS the 1967 and 1968 American Ethical Union Assemblies passed resolutions opposing our involvement in Vietnam; and

WHEREAS the death and destruction is increasing to alarming proportions while the peace negotiators quibble over mechanics

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the American Ethical Union petition the federal government to forthwith unilaterally stop military action in Vietnam and proceed to withdraw our armed forces.
