DISCRIMINATION AGAINST HOMOSEXUALS

WHEREAS, the integrity and validity of every human being is an important value of ethical humanism; and

WHEREAS, the American Ethical Union supports human rights and civil liberties for all people regardless of individual characteristics;

BE IT RESOLVED, that the American Ethical Union affirms that homosexuals are entitled to these rights and civil liberties; and urges an end to laws making homosexual behavior between consenting adults criminal, and an end to all economic and other discrimination against homosexuals.
