1973: URGING AMNESTY NOW April 1973 - 65th Annual Assembly

URGING AMNESTY NOW

WHEREAS, we believe that it is time to do everything that would contribute to a healing in the Nation caused by our participation in warfare in Southeast Asia;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the American Ethical Union urge the President of the United States, as well as the Congress, to provide, without further delay, full and unconditional amnesty to all those who refused to enter or to continue military service.
