CIA FOREIGN INVOLVEMENT

WHEREAS this country interfered in the affairs of other countries through the CIA, and other governmental agencies,

WHEREAS the American Ethical Union objects to overt or covert interference in the internal affairs of other countries, such as in Chile, Cuba, Italy, and Cambodia and others,

THEREFORE, the American Ethical Union calls upon Congress to restrict the CIA to legitimate information and intelligence collecting activities and thus prevent, through close supervision, the recurrence of the above referred to transgressions.
