We deplore the underlying racism that leads to such action, and together with those of other denominations, we proclaim our unwavering solidarity with those seeking to repair the targeted institutions and pledge hereto our energy, our means and our determination. We urge all to contribute to the rebuilding of these churches and to the eradication of racial hatred and bigotry in our country.
