Resolutions take stands or propose action by the American Ethical Union on ethical issues. They are adopted by a vote of delegates at an Assembly. *AEU Assembly Resolutions represent the official position of the American Ethical Union. They are created and approved during the AEU's annual Assembly, at which all of our member Societies are represented by voting delegates. Resolutions are approved by a minimum of two-thirds of the delegates, but are non-binding on individual member Societies and the members of those Societies.
