Do you want to know more about the Ethical Movement and the ideas and history and how it all works? Here’s an opportunity to learn more from the comfort of your own home. You’ll meet others who share your interest, contribute your ideas, learn from each other.
Register for this 5-session in-depth orientation and introduction to Ethical Societies and the Ethical Movement. Or, register just for the session or sessions you’re interested in. You can start with any of them. If there’s enough interest, we’ll repeat them. Sponsored by the Riverdale-Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture, and open to anyone interested in the Ethical Movement.
Sessions with Dates and Times: (all sessions are scheduled for 7-9 pm ET)
* The Context of the Ethical Movement: April 8
* Ethical Society Organization (local and national): May 13
* The Future of Ethical Societies and the Ethical Movement: June 10
Each session will include some time for presentation of information, and some time for discussion and dialogue, including in pairs or small groups (still online), depending on the size of registration. Each session also has handouts that will be emailed to you.
General tickets: $15/session, or $50 to register for the whole series before the first or second session. This helps cover costs. If that is a barrier, contact the organizer and identify what you would be able to contribute.
If you’d like to donate to help finance participants who are getting a discount, you’ll see that option when you click the “Tickets” button on Eventbrite.
The webinars use Zoom Video Conferencing for the presentations. You can participate by phone audio only (charges may apply), but you’re much better off participating by video so that you can see as well as hear fellow participants, more like a real seminar. Your tablet, phone, or computer may have a built-in camera, or use a webcam. We recommend a headset (with a microphone built in). There are economical webcams and headsets available widely. You can test your internet connection, sound and video, and join a test meeting to see how it works: Zoom.
