The American Ethical Union honored Free Your Voice with the 2017 Elliott-Black Award at our 102nd Assembly, “Bmorethical2017: Communities Confronting Systemic Racism,” in Baltimore, Maryland.

Free Your Voice is a Baltimore youth group that fights for environmental justice. It was started by, and is composed of, students at Ben Franklin High School (a Baltimore City public school). They rallied their community to protect the health of residents and engage in political action that betters their lives.

Ted, thank you for writing this article. It is nice to see that people think of my mother more than two years after her death. I hope that all is well with you and yours.Thank you for the wonderful updates! I like this blog a lot and always wait for more postsI loved this article! Thanks Carolyn. I once read that much of the cave paintings from prehistoric times were painted by women and ceremonial spaces left in tact in honor of female shamans.AUTHOR, yet another fantastic value based article based on research, and I think all the tips are the result of learning through experience, that’s why they are so much valuable for the readers.Hello there! This is my 1st comment here so I just wantedto give a quick shout out and say I genuinely enjoy reading through yourarticles. Can you suggest any other blogs/websites/forums that go over thesame subjects? Thank you so much! It’s amazing to me how many contemporary (and historical) Western villains exhibit such an astounding attitude of entitlement. As the article aptly points out, Russia owes nothing to Poland by way of “reparations”. Yet Duda apparently expects them, based solely on Polish chutzpah! My own rogue state — the US — of course tops the list for sheer arrogance by insisting it should “own” the entire planet. Sickening! Thanks very much for this excellent translation, Stanislav. gate io
