On March 9, 2022, we hosted a co-hosted a Zoom presentation with our friends from the Freethought Society. In part one, our guest speaker, actor and activist Chetan Ahimsa talks about Periyar, a social activist/politician who has had a major influence on how Chetan fights for equality. He also discusses his own activism experience as well. In part two, we pick up right where we left off in part 1 with Chetan’s story about his high school math teacher. Then, we learn more about Chetan during our Q&A session and close out the event with a performance of “Imagine” by musician Abraham Steve Mackey.
