The American Ethical Union is seeking a Leadership Dean to help shape the future of Ethical Culture and Humanist leadership nationwide.

This is a pivotal role for someone who loves building thoughtful, responsive programs and supporting people as they grow into ethical leadership. The Leadership Dean coordinates and sustains training for Humanist clergy (Leaders) and lay leaders, helping translate shared values into lived practice across Ethical Societies.

✨ About the role:

• Establish, develop, and maintain leadership training programs
• Support and coordinate the AEU Leadership Committee
• Oversee curriculum development and training delivery
• Supervise lay leadership cohorts and certification processes
• Collaborate with national leadership and AEU staff

🧭 Reports to: Developmental Director & AEU Leadership Committee

This position is ideal for someone grounded in Ethical Humanism or Ethical Culture, experienced in education or nonprofit leadership, and energized by building systems that help people flourish.
