With the support and encouragement of its community members, the Westchester Community for Ethical Culture (WCEC) is becoming increasingly active in speaking out publicly on issues that are vitally important to the well-being of society and the health of our democracy. The community feels compelled to add its voice to matters such as voters’ rights, gun control, immigration protections, genocide, abuse of government power and much more.
Through this blog, WCEC aims to reach a broad audience of concerned citizens whose lives are guided by ethical and humanistic values. The blog also welcomes engagement from those who may disagree with the views expressed, with the hope of fostering thoughtful dialogue and respectful exchange.
All members, along with their family and friends, are invited to participate. To access the blog, visit ethicaltimes.substack.com in any web browser and click Subscribe. (Subscription is free.) Simply provide an email address to begin receiving occasional posts—likely once or twice per week.
Community members are also encouraged to consider submitting their own articles or letters for possible publication. Any topic that can be connected to ethical reflection—questions of right and wrong—is welcome. Submissions may be sent togbethicseditor@gmail.com.
