Are you disappointed with the various forms of voter suppression trying to silence people of color’s votes? Do you believe that all Americans deserve a right to participate in their government? Are you ready to do something about it? We are!

The American Ethical Union is joining the Secular Coalition for America’s movement-wide get-out-the-vote (GOTV) effort in 2018 and beyond. This campaign will not only increase general voter turnout, but also provide a great opportunity for our Societies to gain local visibility as we take action to strengthen our democracy. Together we will show elected officials and candidates that the secular constituency has ground game worth their attention. We actively support our neighborhoods, we promote secular, humanistic values that recognize the worth and dignity of individuals, and we make sure that our government is working for all. We will not allow them to teach creationism instead of science, take away healthcare from millions, further disenfranchise marginalized people, or continue to ignore the harmful effects of climate change.
