Welcome, Ethical Humanists of Atlanta!

The Society Development Team is thrilled to announce that the American Ethical Union Board of Directors has officially accepted the Ethical Humanists of Atlanta as the newest addition to the AEU.

Members began organizing in 2016, as a monthly discussion group that originally met on Meetup.com. Wendell Bohannon, who serves as the current president of the EHA board, led the group through the process of becoming an Ethical Society with the assistance of AEU Executive Director Bart Worden and the Society Development Team, after it became established last year. Many Assembly attendees were delighted to meet Wendell in Tampa this summer. He and the members he represents are very enthusiastic and excited to be a part of the AEU.

Twelve core members are meeting regularly, holding Sunday Platforms with guest speakers, visiting Ethical Culture Leaders, viewing films together, doing volunteer work, and enjoying recreational activities.

They meet at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center in Atlanta on the 4th Sunday of the month at 12:30 PM. If you’re ever in Atlanta at that time, pay them a visit! Or visit their Facebook page anytime at https://www.facebook.com/ethicalhumanistofatlanta.
