This Ethical Living video features Sharon Stanley of the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island sharing her involvement with Moms Demand Action. As a former teacher, Sharon was deeply affected by the Parkland school shooting where teachers and the students they taught were victims of the gun violence that is plaguing our nation. Sharon decided to become an advocate for legislation to bring common sense and safe practices to our communities. There are Moms’ groups in every state where our Ethical Societies are located so it’s possible to make what they’re doing a part of our Ethical Action work.
