Melissa Sinclair, Director of Ethical Education at the Washington Ethical Society, spoke on September 21, 2014 at the Northern Virginia Ethical Society about “Teaching Our Children to Sound Their Barbaric Yawp.”

Using our Core Values, curricula, workshops, service projects and events, Ethical Culture aims to teach our children to think for themselves and feel empowered to express themselves openly. Our children learn that often there aren’t absolute right or wrong answers or only one way to approach a problem. We want to hear their barbaric yawp.
