Anjela Jenkins, supervising attorney at the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights, spoke October 9, 2016 at the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island about “Advocating for the Best Interests of Unaccompanied Immigrant Children.”

Anjela Jenkins discusses unaccompanied immigrant children in the United States, including how they arrive and navigate the immigration system, and the work that the Young Center does to advocate on these children’s behalf. She and her colleague also share how individuals can volunteer to help children.
