1973 – Mutual Understanding Of The Races
Submitted to and Passed by the AEU 65th Assembly in Riverdale-Yonkers
Whereas in recent years in America there have developed an unfortunate polarization between blacks and whites with increasing violence and escalating reprisals on both sides.
Therefore Be It Resolved that the AEU and the local Ethical Societies approach black communities vigorously and sensitively with the view of finding both a mutual understanding and joint purpose expressed in action programs for the benefit of all.
