What do we really know about how to teach ethics to children? Recent research has been challenging old theories and developing new approaches that are more effective. This engaging event will couple recent research in ethical development with practical tips to help parents, teachers, and other caregivers raise ethically responsible children. The workshop will be useful to anyone involved in raising or working with children.
The Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture is sponsoring the workshop on Saturday, March 28, from 10am-2pm at the Poly Prep School (1st Street & Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, NY 11215). There will be a 30 minute break for lunch (lunch and coffee will be available for sale onsite). The cost of the event is $30-$60 and proceeds will provide scholarships to BSEC’s Ethics for Children classes (sliding scale: please pay what you are able to and what you would enjoy contributing towards presenting this program for the community).
