Long Island Helps Communities and Police Talk
The Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island and Leader Emeritus Arthur Dobrin (pictured here), helped develop a new website that promotes police-community relations. The site, www.communitiesandpolicetalk.org, is available in English, Spanish, and Creole. It “seeks to create an outlet for residents to voice their concerns with the police department, while allowing the police the opportunity to educate the community on pertinent information.”
