Carlton E. Smith, our Facilitator, is a Partner Consultant with Shared Vision Consulting. He was a founding member of the Organizing Collective of Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism (BLUU) and drafted the original proposal that led to the Unitarian Universalist Association’s $5.3 million commitment to that organization. This spring, he led the wildly successful 2026 pledge drive at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport, raising several hundred thousand dollars.

Program is free, but registration is necessary.

This course is sponsored by the American Ethical Union Fundraising Committee through the Leadership Formation Initiative. Dr. Richard L. Koral and Thomas Castelnuovo serve as co-chairs for the committee.
